Who would enjoy a walk-in bath?

We think everyone would enjoy our walk-in baths. It's difficult to imagine not enjoying sitting safely in a walk-in bath with warm water moving soothingly around you. However, there may be some who would benefit particularly from being able to bath in a raised sitting position, and this is where our walk-in baths can help.

For people with physical difficulties, lie-down baths may become impossible because of the difficulty for the bather of getting up and down, even with modifications to the traditional bath and help from a carer. Recent recommendations to solve this problem have included using a huge walk-in shower with a waterproof stool in a bathroom with a large floor space, suitable for manoeuvring wheelchairs. This gives little privacy or independence to the person showering, and existing bathrooms may not have space for these modifications.

Walk In Baths Ltd offers a safe, relaxing bathing experience. Our walk-in baths solve the problems not addressed by standard showers or baths. There is no longer any need to lie down to become immersed in water. Simply walk into one of our baths, close the door, sit down on the seat and turn on the taps. The Waiwera bath has the door at the end of the bath, and can be installed to give carer access on three sides of the bath. With the Rotorua, you can choose to have the door on the left or right hand side of the bath, depending on how it will fit into your bathroom.

We offer ease of movement, minimise the problem of getting into and out of a bath, and have the taps and other controls easily to hand. We recommend thermostatically controlled mixer taps.
